With strong ties to their church, Ladi and his wife, Moni, are struggling with how to reconcile their marriage morally. In the meantime, their daughter, Shekinah, is feeling the effects of the growing pains of this changing family. Moni is consumed with climbing the corporate ladder. Ladi wants them to enjoy life as a family. Ladi and Moni are both selfish. Shekinah is your typical rebellious teenager. A temporary “fix” for their problems almost destroys this family.
This is a family in turmoil trying to hold on to their faith collectively and individually. Kay really reveals a dark underworld sect of the church. These were people of faith experimenting with alternative lifestyles instead of seeking the God they pretend to serve. This experimentation led most involved to life altering consequences but some turned back to God.
This is the most complete novella I have read. Nothing was lacking. Kay thoroughly developed all the characters and plot in a small amount of pages. I was completely caught off guard by some of the happenings that occurred. Honour Among All is not your typical Christian fiction. This novella deals with real time issues that are plaguing the modern day church.
