A Hearts On Fire Review

Do you like to read short stories in between novels? A story that does not require much effort to read? That is what I would classify Nicole Dennis's Revelation", a M/M romance short that features Zach Savage - lead singer of rock group 'Raven Creed' and his interior designer lover of five years, Nolan.

The author throws the reader directly into the crux of the story, Zach is tired of having to be in the closet for his record company and finally was able to break his contract with the support of his band. His manager has a different take on Zach admitting to his fans and the public about 1. being gay and 2. being in a committed relationship. Thankfully, Zach is not deterred from his plan on finally being able to not hide his man or his true self any longer.

Being as the main characters are already in a committed relationship, you are probably wondering what else can happen to carry the story along. Well...not that much. Other than the obligatory sex scene and lovers' spat over coming out to the public, there wasn't any drama.

This is a readable hour-or-so short story that is sweet, has some hot man-on-man action and a HEA. What is the "Revelation" could have been Zach coming out to the public or Zach realizing he's in a relationship with a non-celebrity and he should also consider his man's feelings too. *shrug* I'm not very worried though on finding out the answer, the story is good enough as it is."
