I liked this book, it had a mystery starting from the beginning that kept me interested. This is a longer book, and I can see it being made into a movie. There was a little confusion towards the end, keeping the characters straight as to who did what. I think that the author might need to add some clarification in the last couple of chapters. This is a fun read for lounging at the beach or just reading a few minutes before bed. It was easy to pick up the book a few days later and get caught back up in the story. ( )

I had to give up on this about a third of the way through. I just didn't care about any of the characters. Some of them were repulsive, I found Anika annoying and Gabriel more sinister than sexy and mysterious.

I found the writing style quite choppy and the story just wasn't flowing for me. In the end I got fed up with the crudeness of the sexual content and gave up.

This book is a thriller with erotic scenes in it. It was a page turner and I ended up not being able to put it down - read it in one sitting. I loved that even though it is considered an erotic novel it had a great and in-depth storyline. The author does a great job grabbing you and when you are done you are left wanting more. Can't wait to read more from this author. ( )
