There just aren't too many other villains that are as great as he is. I wasn't crazy about this volume. The villains weren't really what this book was bout. It was mostly about some of the people at the Daily Bugle and elsewhere start to look a little deeper at people around them. People are now suspecting that Spider-Man is not Peter Parker, and it's causing Ock all sorts of issues. I do like that Otto's struggles are still occurring mentally to make this comic interesting and keep the character fresh in this new look. Still as ruthless as before, but he is starting to warm up a little more to the job, and maybe a little too much. Highly recommended read for Spider-fans. ( ) The Goblins are here. Adam's Review (5 stars): Can this title get any better? SPOILERS Spider Slayer, Vulture, Scorpion, Boomerang, AND Hobgoblin in one volume? The action in this volume alone is "superior"! New, more deadly costume, Parker's friends investigating their suspicions of the personality change, and the continuing underground rise of the Green Goblin.... wow. Complex storylines being set up left and right, but nothing that doesn't appear to have a conclusion in sight. As much as I have been enjoying Otto's run as Spidey, I do miss the comedy and playfulness of Peter Parker. (But I did just hear that Amazing Spider-Man is relaunching with Peter at the helm.... I smell showdown coming soon!) But...... Otto's assult on the Kingpin with his "Spider Army"? That was the first time during my read of this title where I was a little scared. I can see Otto's Spidey becoming more and more of a super villain with each book. Is this intentional from the author? Guess I'll find out soon enough. Very highly recommend! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
