This book is great for 'Grimm' fans. The entries are done in a very nice aged look (plus blood stains etc), in a variety of languages, drawing styles and handwritings (and many of the handwritings are not fonts but actual writing, which adds to the atmosphere). The German parts vary between really good translations and very amusing gibberish. I can't judge how well the other languages are done, but I found the mistakes more funny than annoying. Don't worry, nearly everything has English translations.
Toward the end, some entries are fairy tales, which worked for 'Blutbad', but for some of the others the stories seem to be chosen at random.
All in all: Nice addition to the show. ( )

On the upside, this book is enormously fun. If you're a Grimm fan, it definitely belongs on your bookshelf. Be aware that it is difficult to read, as it's presented in the same handwritten/foreign-language format as the old books Nick reads from; however, that's half the fun.

On the downside, it is equally enormously incomplete. Half of the Wesen names in the table of contents are crossed out, meaning there's no information on them; that, in spite of the fact that they all were included in the "real" book. Please, Titan, come out with a second volume! ( )
