Little Raccoon doesn't want to share anything, she's afraid if she does, there won't be enough for her. So while she picks berries she hides in the bush because she sees her friends fishing. They all talk about having a fish fry party afterward, and Little Raccoon wants to go. All of the other animals are going to bring something. Little Raccoon does not want to share her berries. Her mother talks her into baking muffins, so she puts a cup of berries on the side for her. Then she goes to Little Beaver's house with the basket of muffins. Little Beaver took the basket of muffins and set them on the table and thanked her. Little Raccoon wasn't so sure about this, but before long everyone was sharing with her. She realized that as long as she shares with everyone else, everyone else will share with her as well. ( )

What a gorgeous illustrated story. Little raccoon learns the good of sharing and finding out sharing is fun. Little raccoon finds all these berries and doesn't want to share with her friends. She hides her berries so her friends can't have any. This is a great story to talk about sharing and emotions that go along with a a upset friend. Age- 3 years-3rd grade
