Aubrey: Still feeling the hurt from her aunt's death from cancer, she is bound and determined to find herself by going around the world on the trip her aunt dreamed of doing. She hasn't been on her own ever in her life. She gave up having a normal life to be with her aunt and help take care of her while she was sick. She is unsure of many things in life. This trip is supposed to help her find herself and give her direction. Stuck on this trip with a stranger, Adam, she is fighting her inner-self to enjoy herself. Now she is faced with the obstacle that is Adam. Adam: He is a single male who has traveled around the world taking pictures of some of the world's most beautiful places. He has agreed to take this trip with Aubrey without knowing her. He is used to being by himself, working on his own schedule. Now he has the challenge that is called Aubrey. Overall thoughts: This story starts out on the sad and depressing side. Going through Aubrey's aunt's death is heart wrenching. Personally the beginning drags out a little too much for me. The travels of Aubrey and Adam start off with tension and unsureness. These two strangers have a hard time going with the flow or at least being around one another. Their expectations of one another on this trip are set high and aren't positive. What happens throughout their journey not only brings them closer together but bud a relationship neither of them want to walk away from. I liked this story. It wasn't too drawn out and it didn't end too quickly. Their adventures (and some misadventures) kept my attention. I was rooting for the two of them to open their eyes to each other and life. They both spend too much time holding back. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
