At the same time, he was writing FF and I liked that much more. I can't quite pinpoint why I don't like this much, either. I just don't. The stand out issue for me here is the Roman one. That's a time travel story done perfectly.
And thankfully Johnny's character is back to a much more acceptable level of dickishness, practical jokes and fighting with Ben without being an obnoxious arse.
As with the previous collection the artwork is excellent.
