A masterful collection of short stories from David Ebershoff all set in the city of Pasadena, CA. Though sometimes humorous (but quite thoughtful throughout), the stories deal with a range of themes. I felt that the stories of young boys were perfectly realized, and often hit close to my own experience as a young gay boy. ( )
