This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I enjoyed it immensely. Two young women and two young men make for an interesting read. Grab a copy of this book and enjoy the journey. Come see what happens when one young lady is mistaken for another. It makes for an interesting read. Would you be concerned if a loved one of yours was not a believer nor were they interested in becoming one? Never give up hope! This story gives you a chance to see for yourself what trusting in God can do. I hope to read more inspirational books by this author. Five stars from me! AUTHOR: quote from Goodreads regarding the author; “J.E.B. Spredemann writes Christian fiction to uplift, inspire, make you laugh, and touch your heart.” GENRE: Contemporary romance fiction; Inspirational SETTING: Modern day New York City and Paradise, Pennsylvania SYNOPSIS One woman born and raised Amish chooses to leave the lifestyle and moves to New York City. Another women raised in New York City has lost her memory and her family does not know that she is alive. One man has lost the love of his life but finds life in another woman. Another man loses the love of his life and no other woman can ever take her place. He is unable to move forward in his life. CENTRAL FEMALE CHARACTER: BRIANNA, does not want to hear a word about God as He does not fit into her easy and carefree lifestyle. ELIZABETH exchanges in Amish life and moves to the big city but does not deny God evident by her lifestyle. Two women that have one thing identically in common. CENTRAL MALE CHARACTER: CARSON has welcomed the Lord into his life and can move past his grief. He is deathly afraid of going to the dentist. LUKE has built a home to share with his future bride but instead cannot live past his Dear John letter. His grief weighs him down. WHAT I LIKED: Each section and chapter in this book is a comparison of the events in each woman's life; switching back and forth as the story weaves itself into God's plan. WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: Stop the crying every five seconds please. RATING: (5) stars BECAUSE great characters each with distinct personalities and fantastic storyline. You know somehow things are going to meet but this book keeps you wondering how. Bible references are right on target. God’s plan when we put ourselves in God’s hands. I really really liked this book. An English and an Amish girl who look enough alike to be sisters share their stories in this great book. English Brianna was going to visit her friend Heidi but forgot her id , on her way back home she was involved in a very serious accident in which she lost her memory. Amish Elizabeth is unhappy being Amish and leaves for the English world. One loses their memory and assumes the other's life by accident. I loved it so much I was unable to put it down once I picked it up. I would get to an end of a chapter and try to put it down to see that I had it in my hand again for the next chapter. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
