While I really like this book I feel that the target audience is more Teen to Adult rather than younger kids. The instructions are words only and not step by step pictorial instruction. This makes it a bit more difficult for younger children to follow along. In addition, the instructions rarely include patterns and often require the user to create their own from measurements. At times the instructions are very vague and only show the finished project. Based on these issues I would not recommend it to anyone under 13.
This would be a great book for a Teen library collection and would even be successful in the adult stacks. I am a bit disappointed that I can't purchase it for my Elementary library because the instructions are way above the intended audience. (
