This is a great action packed conspiracy thriller trilogy which is well worth reading. Genetically modified, superior orphans, who are known by numbers rather than by names, have been raised by the shadowy Omega Agency, but one of the orphans realises he wants out.

This is predominantly the story of Nine, who tries to escape. As a master of disguise and an expert in most fields, he uses his training to flee the orphanage and begin a new life. But things are never simple.

Each book in this trilogy has its own flavour, but each also includes the same ingredients: exotic locations, disturbing experiments, well defined characters, fast paced action and real conspiracy facts mixed in with the fiction.

The second book was my favourite, but all three grabbed my attention from the word go. It’s well worth investing some time in this trilogy. Let’s hope the film version is made soon. ( )

In the conspiracy of “The Orphan Trilogy”, Nine, one of the 23 orphans created in a lab with a government agency, grows up training for the ultimate battle he never expected.

While growing up, Nine had to train to fight, disguise and hide in plain sight. While doing this, he had to do all of these things right in the orphanage with his other orphaned friends and a sister. He grew strong and smart very quickly.

He didn’t know it was right or wrong. He only knew what they taught him during his training and schooling at the orphanage.

The agency that is responsible for everything is the “Omega Agency”. The orphans were genetically engineered by the agency.

During one of Nine’s missions, he meets a woman and ends up taking her captive to protect her as someone was out to kill her after her father was executed. During that time, Nine had never known what love was until he fell for the lady he’d been protecting.

He then fought for freedom and to keep her safe. He ended up framing one of the main guys for her safety and his freedom from the “Omega Agency”.

After being free for so long, he learned of his sister’s treatment and his son was abducted by the Agency. He didn’t know why, but he was determined to get him back and help his sister with her helping him to find his son.

The Agency wanted his son for scientific research on his genetics and how to use his DNA and everything that they could to their benefit.

James and Lance Morcan have written several wonderful books. This is just the trilogy:
Book One: THE NINTH ORPHAN
Book Two: THE ORPHAN FACTORY
Book Three: THE ORPHAN UPRISING

Sterling Gate books are the best of the best when it comes to the Morcan father and son team of writing. Be sure to check out the whole trilogy! I loved the whole set!
