To start with this story is SHORT!!!! so extremely short and that made it disappointing for me. The story is great, despite it being short in nature. Cassie, sister to a loser gambling addicted brother goes to Hagen, a loan shark with a terrifying reputation, to pay off his supposed $5000 loan, only to find out its really thirty thousand dollars!! unable to pay that amount of her college students income, Cassie is stunned! Till Hagen makes her a offer she can’t and neither wants to refuse. Cassie is wildly attracted to Hagen and Hagen treats her like a princess. Is it really all about the money for Hagen.

Again this book is short and even though you find out Hagen and Cassie’s back story, I found myself wishing there was just a little more to the story. This book is a great introduction to Roxy Rivera’s new Russian Protectors series. ( )
