Tim tears up his bike and frightens his cat with a bat. The little boy tells his grandmother about Tim and explains how big of a pain he is and how he really does not care for his neighbor Tim. The grandmother tells her grandson that he should love his neighbor as he would love himself. The little boy knew that just was not possible so he went home thinking of all the kinds of neighbors he wished he had and the the kind of neighbors he could love. Then he saw Tim setting on his front porch rather sad so he decided to go see what was the matter. Tim told the little boy that he had not one single friend. The little boy told Tim that he would be his friend. I thought of my younger years in Sunday school and how little things such as making friends with people was hard and complicated sometimes. My class room extension ideas were to discuss the meaning of being a friend and maybe doing a craft with the bible verse love your neighbor as you love your self. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
