This book, of course, discusses the metals. Like all the books, it begins rather generally, with a discussion of the periodic table and the general properties of metals. Then it moves on to discussing specific groups of metals. The book, which is only 64 pages, is divided into about 10 chapters, each chapter is nicely distinguished from the others by means of page headers. Well done all around and very interesting. (
