Roadside Geology of Texas is a guide to the geology of Texas that you can see from the road. Most of the focus is on Central and West Texas, because the geology is much more obvious and interesting there. I-45, for instance, which runs from Dallas to Houston, is skipped since the landscape is mostly flat and there's really nothing to see. But if you're interested in what you see out your car window on I-10 or I-35, there's lots for you to think about. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique

The geologic panorama of Texas is as wide as the state is big, sweeping from volcanic mesas and thrusting mountains in the west to red canyons of the Panhandle, along tropical sand barriers of the Gulf Coast, and across central limestone plateaus onto hard granite terrain in the center of the state.
