I agree with some of the other reviewers not as good as some other Frank and Ernest reads. Our favorite is the one where this duo helps run a diner for a few days. Truck driving and its lingo did not have the same hold on us as did the restaurant world and diner slang. ( )

This is my first Alexandra Day outside her Carl series, which has so few words that I remember them as wordless books. This book is part of another series about Frank and Ernest, who learn the of truckers here and the language of baseball in another book. Frank and Ernest are a bear and an elephant, although I am at a loss to know why. They behave like studious, sincere, hardworking, careful humans eager to learn about a new occupation and get it right. Lots of new words and terms are introduced and it's fun to learn a lot of new terms. Sixes and eights! (In other words, good luck!) ( )
