It's a story of disgruntled fired army personnel who take matters into their own hands to teach some politicians a lesson or two . At points I wasn't sure if the book had taken a comedic turn a it felt quite humorous, but then it returned to its core theme and serious plot. Although I did enjoy the book I felt it did drag on a little too long and found myself speed-reading towards the end. ( ) Having previously read Michael Dobbs books and enjoyed them and those shown on TV, especially House of Cards, I have to say this was disappointing. I took it on holiday and it took me all week to struggle through to the end. I found the plot too preposterous and characters too unbelievable to enjoy the odd political insights about how the Whitehall machine operates. I also couldn't find much to sympathize with either of the leading characters. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
