it’s thrilling and suspenseful once the past and present collide, turning Mandy’s world into a nightmare. Once introductions get underway the story finally cross-threads these two characters lives. The book spans the centuries from modern England to 19th century Paris. The action/adventure portion of the story didn’t begin until half way into the book. It was interesting blending centuries by incorporating Alexandre’s character into modern day society. Madison helped Alexandre acclimate into the twenty-first century.

Madison’s character was brave, strong, and independent. She was also patient and caring.
Nineteenth century vampires meet the twenty first century. It’s like a time travel story into the future.
Once Madison discovered the vampires the story was quite appealing and entertaining, but getting to that point was slow. I really enjoyed the storyline but the execution needed some work. (
