Kate Douglas Wiggin (September 28, 1856 - August 24, 1923) was an American educator and author of children's stories, most notably the classic children's novel Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. She started the first free kindergarten in San Francisco in 1878 (the Silver Street Free Kindergarten). With her sister during the 1880s, she also established a training school for kindergarten teachers. This book's name is New Chronicles of Rebecca which is deeply attracted me a lot. As soon as i started to read it i liked it from day one. This story tells a funny comedy,the Rebecca, grows in a small and beautiful villege, She has a happy life experience since she was born here.As she was becoming more and more old she started to look forwed to the life which is out of this villege.
so she said goodbye to her hometown and start her new life.
This story is so funny that you never forget her adventure experience. During that time, a serious of different kinds of stories happened to her.
