Nancy du Tertre covers it all in this book and includes scientific studies and findings to support her conclusions. The reader can explore all of the psychic senses and their potential for trainability. Du Tertre supplies exercises at the end of every chapter so that the reader can begin to develop his or her own abilities; she includes information on the physical senses, and how psychic abilities differ from the symptoms of mental illness, hallucinations, and psychosis. The author also points out the similarities between savants, autistics, synesthetes and psychics. Nancy shares personal accounts of the things she experiences as she was trained as a psychic detective, so the reader can find out more about how subjective psychic experiences compare to objective scientific findings. As an attorney, Nancy has learned how to ask questions and find answers; it is clear that she uses her honed investigative skills to research the materials and information that she supplies in this book. Highly recommended! ( ) Good book - from time to time I was slightly bored by countless examples, explanations and scientific terms, but beside that, I've learned a lot about extra-sensory perception. In many ways, confirming my findings "to date", and learning about possible scientific explanations. The book wasn't easy to read for me - mainly because once in few pages, I was hit with another idea to improve my own training :). Which is good, and I have to say, that for many psychic-wannabies, Psychic Intuition will be very inspiring.
Carefully researched, perfectly written with a little dose of humour, will suit every person interested in practical psychic abilities. Some people will find the exercises useful, for everyone else, it’s a groundbreaking, eyes opening publication setting a new path towards understanding psychic phenomena.
Author Nancy du Tertre, "the Skeptical Psychic", takes you on a journey to find the answer to these questions and more in Psychic Intuition. She became psychic in mid-life after years of intensive study and training, and is now a believer that everyone has the potential to tap into their intuition and understand the world at a deeper level. Psychic Intuition bridges the gap between skeptics who can analyze but don't experience psychic phenomena, and believers who have the experiences but lack the ability to analyze. This book explains, for the first time, how psychic ability works in the brain. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
