Okay, con Bulli e pupe rinuncio ufficialmente a ogni tentativo di diluire la lettura della serie nel tempo invece di divorarla. Maledetti Ty e Zane!

L'invettiva è del tutto affettuosa, naturalmente. Si vede che, leggendo di questi due che bisticciano più o meno amorevolmente, mi è venuta voglia di entrare a mia volta nella disputa: chi, tra Zane e Ty, meriterebbe una badilata da nonno Chester (giusto, giusto per rimestare un po' le idee)? Ty per la sua uscita in mezzo ai proiettili e sul bordo di un balcone? O Zane per il sua risposta a gesti, ma non a parole? Potremmo fare una badilata per uno?

Il fatto è che, per quanto continui a lamentarmi delle loro dinamiche di coppia di scoppiati, l'evoluzione del rapporto tra Ty e Zane è graduale al punto giusto (cioè, quello in cui finirò per urlare dalla frustrazione... ma proseguiamo). Non sarebbero stati minimamente credibili se si fossero messi insieme nel primo volume, spargendo cuori e fiori sulla loro via. Ma questo crescendo di attenzioni e tenerezze dell'uno nei confronti dell'altro mi sta davvero spaccando il cuore.

Costretti per lavoro a impersonare una coppia sposata in vacanza, infatti, i confini tra il loro rapporto e quello tra gli sposini si faranno nebulosi e questa incertezza renderà loro dolorosamente evidente cos'è che vorrebbero per loro stessi. Com'era già evidente in Forza e coraggio, Ty è più avanti rispetto a Zane nel riconoscere i propri sentimenti, ma entrambi sono assolutamente convinti che l'altro voglia soltanto divertirsi a letto. Ve l'ho detto che devo ancora capire chi si merita le badilate! ( )

This has to be my favorite out of the Cut & Run series. Honestly.

Ty and Zane really got into the mechanics of their relationship in this book. It really shows that the author put something good into it. i was really fickle though that it had so much waiting between both characters but anyone can see that they really grew tighter. They are comfortable and not that tense around each other anymore.

My favorite scenes would have to be those moments when they contemplate with each other and disregard everything else in the world.

I'm thinking that maybe the reason I can't relate with the series is how it takes place some years ago and since then we had so many development in science, forensis and stuff that it's really dumb how they solve things. ( )

I was expecting a bit more of plot and action. The ending was nice. Overall, a good read. ( )

This book was definitely more fun because Ty and Zane were forced to relax a little and decided to open up to each other. Hope the series gets better from here on. ( )
