I felt the movie didn't give the books enough justice. ( ) The novel, T=Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, encompases never giving up, and following your dreams. In the beginning, Soren, the protagonist, struggles with being pushed out of his nest by his evil brother, Kludd, and being snatched by larger owls and taken to a place where he is severely punished if he asks questions. Throughout the book, he perseveres through making friends with another snatched owl, Gylfie, and escaping with her to find the Great Ga'hoole Tree, which, up until then, was regarded as only a myth. By the end, he and Gylfie have made friends with two other owls, Twilight and Digger, and found their way to the Great Ga'Hoole Tree, and are on their way to becoming warriors.
