The book is about a boy who bullies and another boy who tries to protect his sister. There was conflict until the sister stood up for her brother. Ages: 3-6 Source: Personal Collection "Just a Bully " is a great book for all kids. This book teaches a lesson on how to handle a bully. Little Critter has to take up for his little sister when a big bully started picking on her. But to Little Critter's surprise, the big bully started picking on him. Soon Little Critter and his sister find a way to get the bully to leave them alone. Mercer Mayer uses the little critter in this phenomenal book to show one good way to deal with a bully. This book relates to the students how bully's make kids feel and why it's wrong. Moreover, the story shows consequences for fighting and how to stand up for yourself. An emergent reader could not make it through the book alone, but still not a hard read at all. There is a fun interactive site by the author, Mercer Mayer, with games and stories for little ones at www.littlecritter.com! Also, for the older students the authors web site has mounds of biographical information as well as interactive activities and resources at www.mercermayer.com aucune critique | ajouter une critique
