I’ve sold a few books on Polish research over the years, most often the classic Polish Roots, by Rosemary Chorzempa. I’m now offering a wonderful new title written by Ceil Jensen, who I met at the 2010 NGS Annual Conference in Salt Lake City. The volume is a lavishly illustrated workbook titled Sto Lat: A Modern Guide to Polish Genealogy which offers a plan for researching at least one hundred years of family records, and is a compilation of Ms. Jensen’s techniques developed over thirty years of research and teaching. Both traditional and digital research methods are presented. Common research questions are answered and suggestions are offered to help novice and advanced researchers find ancestors in both North America and Poland.

This is a new book I purchased at the 2010 National Genealogy Society conference in Salt Lake City. I also attended a lecture given by the author. The lecture and the book have been very helpful for me. ( )
