I enjoyed this more than I expected. While I enjoy reading BDSM, I don't usually like the slavery theme. But this story truly drew me in and made me want to finish it quickly.

That was brutal. This book hurt me, break me and put me in such a bad mood that I couldn't pick up another read in 1.5 months.

This story is about sex slavery. There is no D/s relationships (even though author trying to show us that THIS couple is totally different). And so many people were upset by the ending but this part actually made perfect sense to me. The story itself did not.

So if you're thinking about reading this novel as D/s book you should pick up something different, but if you like medieval atmosphere and lifestyle then enjoy! ( )

I would give more stars but I'm not a hug fan of the setting in that is historical but not an identifiable time period really. ( )

This book was fucking great.
Loved the dynamics, loved the secondary characters, loved the journey. Though, at one point, I thought it was going to flop belly up all insta-love on me. But it was just insta-lust and a whole lot of insta-misunderstanding lol.

What an interesting premise and wonderful world building! ( )
