I bought the boxed set because it was cheap. I've finished the first one. It's alright. Nothing special. The main chick Alyssa is kind of annoying. I didn't really like any of the characters. Or the plot. But I'm not into paranormal as much as I used to be either. It has to be something really special to catch my attention and this just fell flat. Goodreads lists this as urban fantasy - but it's really not. Anyway, it was short enough and I'll probably read the rest since I've already bought the boxed set. ( )
