Critiques en avant-première
In 2039, an amusement park was created within a skyscraper in New York City. The former office building housed thousands of pods which fed patrons the virtual world of Darklandia. Millions flocked to Darklandia where they could rob banks and cheat on their wives from the comfort of a virtual world with no consequences. When the crime rate began to plummet, the government saw the potential in the Darklandia program and quickly commandeered the software and equipment. “Dark rooms” began popping up all over New York City as a means of controlling crime. In a world where the ability to live a virtual double-life has eliminated crime and misery, how do you know what’s real and how do you know joy if you’ve never suffered pain?
