The Orwell Prize is the pre-eminent British prize for political writing.

Four prizes are awarded each year: one each for non-fiction and fiction (fiction first awarded in 2019), one for journalism afficher plus and one for 'Exposing Britain's Social Evils' (established 2015); a fifth prize was awarded for blogging between 2009 and 2012.
