This is an anthology of stories related to the Sword & Sorcery game Scarred Lands. It's a fun book not real inspirational but gives an interesting look into the world of Scarn where elves, dwarves and many others races try to exist and even the gods come out to play with mere mortals, for good or ill.

This book was the best of the 4 written for the Scarred Lands in my opinion.

Like it's sister book "Champeons of Darkness" this book is a grab bag of good and bad stuff, but it has the asset of having more wonderful Talon artwork. Some of the prestige classes are alright, but you've got much better ones in Van Richten's Arsenal. Pick and choose what you want to take, being aware of game unballancing factors.
