Here is a detailed and scholarly description of Jersey, with black and white illustrations. It starts with "Introducing Jersey", 26 pages, with an illustration of a Jersey cow. After the introduction, there are 169 pages of buildings and places in Jersey in alphabetical order, beginning with "Bonne Nuit" and ending with "Westmont" but there are never any people from Jersey. For those, the reader will resort to the index. There follows a Glossary of terms used in Jersey. Some terms are obvious to the casual reader ("Militia"), but others obscure ("Colombier", A stone tower housing pigeons), and some in obsolete French.

This book may be useful to Wikipedia editors and scholarly types, but because of the alphabetical arrangement it is not an easy read for the casual reader.
