Harriet Granville (1785–1862)

Lady Harriet Cavendish, "Harryo" to her family, was the second daughter of the glamorous Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire and the 5th Duke. After her mother's death, her father remarried and Harryo wanted to leave home. Her aunt Harriet (Henrietta), Lady Bessborough, asked her own long-time lover Granville Leveson-Gower to marry Harryo in 1809. Harryo adored Granville and allowed his two illegitimate children by her aunt to live with them. Her own daughter Lady Georgiana Fullerton became a well-known novelist.
