I really liked the way the information was presented in this book. The text included bold words that were important or more difficult that could be referenced in the glossary. The font was big, making it easier to read for elementary students. Some of the bigger pictures were made into backgrounds, while there were smaller pictures throughout to draw attention to important details. I also liked that the information was straightforward and broken down into shorter paragraphs. The headings made it easier to find a section of the book that looked interesting to read. I would have like to see more information in this book. Though Antarctica does not have much information to begin with, I wanted to find out more about the continent after reading. This book is one of a series of books about different continents, so I am curious as to how much information is included in the other texts. Overall, I thought this book was a great resource for beginning readers about a continent that is rarely discussed. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Receiving only six months of sunlight every year, Antarctica is one of the most desolate and fascinating continents on Earth! In Explore Antarctica, kids are taken on a journey through this continent's chilly geography, exploring its mountains, peninsula, seas, and mile-thick layer of ice, as well as its beautiful animals.
