Nancy Drew is in a tight spot! It all starts when Nancy trails a masked jewel thief in the woodlands around River Heights. After running into a group of hikers, Nancy asks if they've seen anyone, only to find that one of the hikers is also the thief! When Nancy breaks off from the group to make a phone call, she is pushed from behind and ends up dangling from a tree root, afraid to call for help lest the crook find her. This time, its up to Bess and George to help their dear friend Nancy Drew. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

I thought this graphic novel was very well done. The story telling was incredibly personal and very persuasive. It kept me interested until the end. I also liked how it gave real information on the somatic reflex and wind farms. The pictures were also very bright, detailed, and pleasant to look at. The panels changed depending on the action and what was being said so they flowed appropriately with the story and kept it interesting.
Classroom Extension Ideas:
1. The class can draw or paint what they believe the Tillybin plant looks like. The pictures can all be displayed in the classroom for all to see.
2. The class can research what wind farms are and what they do. How do they benefit the environment? You can even take the class on a field trip to an area where there are wind farms to see for themselves how large they are. ( )
