NCLA Review - Best-selling author Carlson uses Jesus’ words from the Bible to tell teens what Jesus has to say that is as relevant to their modern day lives as it was two thousand years ago. She uses ninety short devotions to apply what is found in the Bible to their lives as they encounter situations at home, school and the world. Each of the devotions begins with a scripture reading, an explanation of what that means as applied to the life of the reader, a short prayer and concludes with a final word and a “stone” or truth to remember. The devotions seem deceptively simple on first reading but are actually filled with depth and meaning. This is an excellent resource for youth. Rating: 4 —AL ( )
