main characters is one of each gender
Grubtown desides that manuel org is to disgusting amd must leave town. It is left to jilly cheeter, girl who is local duck collector to tell him. However in the duck house she finds a great big diamond and manuel org tells her that he is very rich, the diamond and the duck house belong to him. He is so disgusting because the girl he liked kissed him and he has not washed since. However at this point a girl falls in the pond and manual jumps in to rescue her - the pond is so poluted that it literly strips the dirt from him (along with all of his hair)after that their is not a problem with him being disgusting.
The story line is a little lame, it is written in a third person chirpy narrative that gets on my wick, but then I am not in P5. The style and disgusting nature of the book will appeal to this agegroup
