I found this Malory Towers continuation novel by Pamela Cox this a rather enjoyable read. Now that Felicity and Co. are sixth former and Felicity, of course, is Head Girl, Cox combines some of the senior girls' adventures with those of younger girls in the first form, which is a nice idea because older girls are usually too dignified to get into the same kind of fun scrapes as the younger girls do.

The theme of redemption in both the senior and junior girls' storylines is quite nice. The novels are derivative, very much in Blyton's style, but that's what readers want from them. ( )
