Several months have passed since Thea was attacked, but the nightmares continue -- ones filled with blood, knives, and a fear that even the comforting weight of her husbands beside her cannot banish. To distract herself on the voyage to Ta'e, Thea prepares a marriage veil for Sya'tia, and her husbands encourage her to offer it to the Warrior Chosen woman they have all come to care for. Will Sya'tia accept it and join her life to theirs? But, when they arrive at Ta'e, Thea finds it is not the paradise she believed it would be. While the Ta'e'shians do not harbor the same hatred her attacker did, there is a subtle disdain in the air that disturbs her. And, occasionally not so subtle, she discovers, when she meets her new in-laws. Meanwhile, Kyrin and Daeshen are making their own sexy plans to regain Thea's trust in them. They have no intention of letting her pull away from them, even if they have to tie her up to do it... Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Homoerotic sexual encounters, mnage, mild bondage, and spanking. The sex was not as good nor did it even happen in the first 1/2 of the book. This was supposedly erotica so was a little strange. Seeing how the 2nd wife, Sya'tia was brought into the fold was interesting but yet that seemed glossed over too.
I did like to see the characters again and how their family's were on the home world. I thought the trial was over the top and not necessary to that extent. Everything there was too easily wrapped up. Yet other points totally left open.
I don't know... somethings were in depth and other glossed over... disjointed, is the closest word I can think of for how I felt. ( )
