The story is about Quinn and Libby. Libby is from New York, but gets an inheritance from someone in NH and has no idea why. So she goes north to see who this guy is who left her everything of his in his will.
Then there's Quinn. We don't get all of Quinn's story up front, but in drips and drabs. She hasn't had an easy life, but she too is up in NH for a specific reason (that eventually we learn).
They meet because of a dog named PJ, and he has quite a cool story too. (and was definitely my favorite character in the story).
It was an interesting main story. There were two parts to the 'twist' in the story. I did manage to guess both parts of the twist correctly before the end, but, I didn't put them together right, and so was surprised by the ending a little bit.
It was an awesome novel, the characters were all so unique (I needed more Brian) and I liked the description of New Hampshire as well. ( )
