Fiction. Romance. Suspense. Thriller. HTML:

New York Times Award-winning author Cherry Adair is turning up the temperature, amping up the action, and raising the degree of danger and desire to irresistibly hot new heights.

"A breathtaking ride...I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! No one does hot romance, ice-cold villains and nonstop adventure better."

Diamondsâ??jewels of every kind, in factâ??are Taylor Kincaid's best friends. The only thing she enjoys more is the challenge of stealing them, at which she excels like few others in the world. And specializing in plundering precious stones from wealthy international criminals just makes it all the more satisfying...and dangerously exciting. So for Taylor, there's no resisting the double allure of snatching the elusive Blue Star diamondsâ??a prize she has pursued across three continentsâ??from the South American stronghold of the murderous Morales terrorist organization.

The heist goes down without a hitch. Until Taylor discovers she has made off with more than she bargained for, namely the secret security-system codes that provide access to a South African diamond mineâ??packed with enough gems to sink a battleship. Suddenly, Taylor's no longer just an ultrachic freelance jewel thief, but a reluctant player in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game against elite global trouble-shooters and bloodthirsty terrorists.

There's nothing reluctant, however, about Huntington St. John, the top T-FLAC operative who's hot on Taylor's trail. And in Taylor's opinion, just plain hot. The feeling, emotional and otherwise, is very mutual. Though they're on opposite sides of the law, Hunt and Taylor swiftly come to appreciate each other's well-honed skills. But since ecstasy is fleeting, and diamonds are forever, Taylor soon slips from the sheets and hits the streets...to reclaim the jewels she stashed overseas. And true to his name, Hunt is close behindâ??but this time, he's after more than the codes. With the clock ticking, and two groups of terrorists closing fast, they'll have to mix pleasure with some very risky business. If they can survive danger at every turn, outwit the ultimate high-tech security system, and somehow conquer each other...they just might get everything they desire.

...Fast-paced and intricately plotted tale of danger, deception, and desire that is perfect for readers who like their romantic suspense adrenaline-rich and sizzl… (plus d'informations)

Hot Ice
4 Stars

Taylor Kincaid specializes in stealing priceless gems and artwork from wealthy international criminals. Unfortunately, her latest heist has netted her the security codes to a secret underground bunker belonging to one of the world's most dangerous terrorists. Now Taylor is the target of rival terror organizations as well as T-FLAC operative Huntington St. John, who soon comes to realize there is more to Taylor than her breaking and entering skills.

Taylor is an intriguing heroine. Her choice of occupation initially presents her character as devious, manipulative and immoral; however, there are numerous hints to the fact that there is more to this than meets the eye.

Hunt is a typical Cherry Adair T-FLAC alpha male. He is brusque and overbearing, but Taylor meets him head-on, and their interactions are witty and exude sexual tension and chemistry.

The suspense plot is action-packed, and the Indiana-Jones like quest in the final chapters is very entertaining. That said, the villain is clichéd and there are several implausible moments.

Overall, this is one of the best installments in the series and I look forward to reading more of the Black Rose trilogy. ( )

She's a thief he's been tracking down for months. Things get hot for her after she steals more than just gems from a safe and not only T-Flac is after her but two different terrorist organizations. Was ok read.

Hot Ice is another great TFLAC book by the awesome Cherry Adair. I loved it from start to finish. It keeps you guessing about what is going to happen next and what does happen you don't expect. A really great read that is filled with plenty of action and romance, definitely worth your time. ( )

Hmmm. On the one hand, this was a quick read. The plot wasn't exactly complex, but I wasn't reading it for major mind-engaging so I wasn't too concerned about that. What did take me by surprise, however, was, well, the amount and graphic description of the, uh, *romantic* part of the suspense. Yes, I probably should have realized it based on the cover; having no knowledge of this author, however, I had no idea how big of an element that would be. If that's not what you're into, be forewarned. ( )

Award-winning author Cherry Adair broke thrilling new ground with On Thin Ice-her stunning romantic suspense hardcover debut. Now Cherry's turning up the temperature, amping up the action, and raising the degree of danger and desire to irresistibly hot new heights.
