The missing line is about a boy who draws a picture of his hill with his town and his grama. He searches the whole town asking everyone around if they've seen his missing line but nobody knows where it went. Until he goes to his grama's house and she tells him to step back and look at the hill they are on. The line of the hill is the line he's been looking for.

I didn't really like this book. The story was a bit weird and the reader never knows why the line goes missing from his picture. The story didn't do anything for me, I thought it was pretty boring. However, the illustrations were cute and it could possibly be used with very young children to develop their imaginations.

A little boy name Tommaso draw a picture of his grandmother’s house. He notices a line is missing from his drawing. He goes around looking for it and eventually finds exactly where he left it, at his grandmother house. ( )

This is an odd picture book; a little boy has a picture that he's drawn of his grandmother's house. One day, a line goes missing from the picture. Tommaso hunts all over his city for the line without luck. Finally he goes to his grandmother's and she points out that the line is now part of the very scene he had once drawn. I think the boy and his grandmother have a sweet relationship and the story is meant to reflect that, but the conceit of a "missing line" is a little too abstract for me. ( )
