I had planned to read all of it, but I'm so frustrated with the author now I'm not sure I'll finish rereading it in the near future. Following the established pattern of introducing a new character with hidden super powers in every volume, we're given Shuro, one half of the glam rock boy band "GeSang". Shuro was born female but since she demonstrated some innate ESP, her family worried she'd be hunted down if the Celestial Maiden fully manifested in her, as it did with Aya. In a frustrating case of nature vs. nurture, Shuro who has been living as a guy and gained idol status, is secretly in love with her duo partner Kei. There's a very painful scene where the author makes it clear in no uncertain terms that Shuro is NOT gay and resents having been raised male. Even more frustratingly, Shuro was on the verge of coming out to her fans as a "fraud" when Kei tragically dies. Since she's now free from stardom, Shuro goes back to living her former life as a guy without revealing her identity. I like the potential subtext that Shuro represents, but Watase safely backpedals out of any real political stance and makes sure to deny Shuro an actual Trans identity...
