This story really hits close to home. It seems when you work, and have children, you spend most of your day away from home. It is very hard to get everyone home at once to spend time together as a family. This book shows how important family time really is.

This book has cute pictures. I like how in this book, the family starts out too busy for family time but then when it snows they are havng too much fun to return to their normal lives. You could have your class draw a picture of things they like to do in their free time. ( )
