Ten stories by Stine, each illustrated by a different artist, including one by Roz Chast. The stories are about a dozen or so pages each, and each has an effectively suspenseful plot. I think the best ones are "The Bad Baby-Sitter", where a young brother and sister have to fight their teenage voodoo-practicing babysitter, "Are We There Yet?", in which parents take their curious children on a pointless road trip, and "Losers", where two obnoxious boys are paid back for their rudeness at the fair. ( ) Two friends named Mark and Jake left a boring Halloween party. A kid named Ray showed them to another party. The party was at the mansion. When Mark and Jake were ready to leave, everything stopped and a girl raised her mirror in front of them. There was no reflection. That means that they were dead. Ray told them that he saw them get hit by a truck. The ghouls went outside to do the Halloween Dance. Mark and Jake did the dance backwards to reverse time and it worked. They were back home. A ghoul grabbed Mark's hand and would not let go. Mark went back to his first Halloween, when he was a baby. I enjoyed reading the book. I love scary stories. They are awesome. This book was very scary. If you like scary stories, you should definitely read it. It is awesome. It will keep you guessing till the end. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
