There were four short stories told by four different authors but incorporating the same characters throughout each story. Clever idea.
I almost stopped reading but I wanted to read each author's story because I might like the next one more.
Because the stories are short things happen quickly. I mean, the characters find love very quickly. By the end of the book almost every character is married.
It just felt a bit rushed at times (three men proposing marriage before they kissed the girl?)
I was also a bit frustrated with Sassy being so judgy.
She disliked one guy for working at the IRS, pretty much claiming God wouldn't like it. And couldn't have been happier when her daughter decided to do the right thing and close her coffee shop on Sunday's.
Oh and one character charmed another by helping her diet and exercise.
I finished the book but it just didn't work for me. ( )
