Little Lunch: Triple Treats is a collection of three short stories adapted from the Australian show of the same name. These stories are relatively cute and fun for younger children. I love the illustrations and the stories are consistent with the happenstance of children this age.

Because I received a copy of this book in a giveaway, I wasn't initially aware this book takes place in and was written in Australia, and I will warn international readers that one of the stories plot lines features a child forgetting his lunch, having nothing to eat, & deciding to sneak across the street to purchase snacks at an off campus store. While I initially found this wildly inappropriate and outdated (no child should have to fear going hungry at school!), after some additional research it appears that this is a very real possibility in some places in Australia, as they do not have widespread public lunch! ( )

This was a cute collection of stories about a group of friends and the adventures at school. My kids enjoyed the book a lot and it brought a lot of laughs. It wasn't there favorite book but they liked it enough to finish it. ( )

My son loved this book! The illustrations brought it to life, and the story was cute and engaging. Highly recommended

Little Lunch: Lots of Laughs
This book contains three shorts stories that are sure to have children laughing and snickering if read to them out loud or as a child is reading this to themselves. Each short story revolves around what are situations children in Elementary school experience daily or at least on a regular basis. It brings into the discussion interpersonal relationships between students and children even questioning themselves. As someone who works in an Elementary School daily, I can totally see each of these situations happening at least in part.

I am looking forward to checking out other books in this series. ( )
