Critique: This book is a good example of science fiction, because it is a fantasy type story with human solutions to a problem, as well as an emphasis on technological inventions (the main characters are robots)
Summary: Wall-E is a trash collecting and compacting robot, one of the only signs of life left on Earth. a robot names EVE is sent to earth in order to scan for signs of life. Wall-E falls in love with EVE, and his love ends up causing him to follow her back to the ship containing all human life, and begins an adventure that brings humans back to planet Earth and turns it back into the beautiful green planet it once was.
Characterization: Wall-E is a fairly round character, and what would be considered an extremely round character for a robot, as he has human characteristics and feelings, as well as quirks and emotions. The reader becomes emotionally invested in his love and wants him to make it, and to end up being with EVE
Media: The book doesn't say but it looks like it was made on the computer (
