Grumpy Cat is a book about a cat that seems very grumpy, but actually just doesn't know how to make friends. When Cat sees the other neighborhood cats playing together, he wants to join in too but he just doesn't know how. However, Kitten comes along and starts following Cat around, trying to play with him. Cat is confused at the beginning because no one has ever approached him before, so Cat continues to ignore Kitten. But Kitten is very persistent and continues to follow Cat around, slowly opening up Cat's heart towards Kitten. At the end of the book, Cat has to save Kitten from a tree, and then the two of them becomes friends.

This would be a great book to teach about friendship and how everyone should be able to have friends.

Grumpy Cat is about a cat that didn't live with or really around anyone else. He ate alone and really didn't like being around anyone. Then along came kitten, kitten was a younger cat that really just wanted a friend and wanted to play. Cat tried to loose Kitten, but could not. He was always right there, over fences, around tight spaces and even up a tree. Cat finally ended up having to save Kitten and turns out finally enjoyed having Kitten around. They became friends, and Cat ended up not being as grumpy. I could see using this book as a book to introduce being a friend to someone who stands out, someone who doesn't seem too happy. This book is about a grumpy cat who lived all alone. He spend all day alone. He would see other cat playing outside but he didn't know how to play with them. One night there was a huge storm and he got wet, grumpier than before, He heard a meow and saw a kitten. The cat didn't know what to do. The rain stopped and the kitten stopped meowing. Cat started to walk away and the kitten followed. Kitten wanted to play and be friendly and Cat looked grumpy. Cat thought he finally lost kitten but then hear kitten in trouble, stuck in a tree. Cat helped kitten down the tree. Cat and kitten became friends. ( )
