The beginning of this book felt like a Valerie Solanis fever dream and (not suprisingly) degraded into unreadable garbage.

Cooper's celebration of toxic femininity rather falls down due to his inability to write a convincing female main character. Still it's rather prophetic in its' portrayal of a society in which men are increasingly sidelined and vilified. ( )

So reads the blurb on the cover of my copy. I drawn to this book in a second-hand book store because of it's title and read it with all the anticipation that one would sit down to watch an old sci-fi B movie. Needless to say it didn't disappoint. Totally cheesy!!! ( )
