Eyewitness books are a great resource for children on a wide range of topics. This book could be read many times over, with something new to be learned each time. I like the wealth of accurate information accompanied by color photos. ( ) Although this guide tries to cover the entire world, it does have a large selection of fossils, so you are able to find at least a similar fossil in the book, to one you are looking at. Illustrations are good and the text on each fossil is helpful and interesting. Pages 1 through 34 introduce the subject of fossils and the framework of naming species and the evolution of ceertain families of plants and animals from primitive up to the present. Methods of searching and collecting are also discussed. Each fossil represented in the text also has a range, age, and abundance description in a special box at the bottom of its description. This is a very good text. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
